Risk disclosure
This risk warning describes how we help user to trade
Effective date: October 10, 2023
This risk warning is intended to provide stakeholders with information about the risks associated with trading. Before deciding to participate in the foreign exchange market, traders should carefully consider their investment objectives, risk preferences, trading experience, and capital capabilities. First, determine your investment objectives and never invest all your assets, as the amount of loss could have a negative impact on your budget. If you have any consultation needs, please seek professional advice from an independent financial advisor.
Margin and leverage trading
Engaging in forex margin trading is high risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Forex margin trading allows clients to generate substantial profits, but it also increases the risk of significant losses.
Leverage enables you to trade with more funds than deposited. Some traders opt for high leverage ratios to operate large amounts of capital. While trading with a large amount of capital may result in significant profits due to the leverage effect, higher leverage also increases the risk of greater losses.
Past investment performance does not necessarily guarantee future results. Investors may incur losses, partially or entirely, of the invested amount, and therefore should not invest funds they cannot afford to lose. Investors should be aware of all risks associated with forex trading, including but not limited to leverage, credit, and market volatility.
Please note that NS YTL does not provide an exhaustive list of risk warnings or disclose all risks associated with contracts for difference (CFDs) or futures contracts, as markets may present various conditions.
Liquidation level
When the net asset value of the account falls below the maintenance margin level, the client terminal will display a red warning alert. If the account fails to maintain sufficient margin within the required time frame and the account equity falls below the liquidation level of 80%, the company reserves the right to execute a forced liquidation at any time without prior notice to prevent further loss of funds.
Orders or strategies to reduce risk
Due to market conditions or technical limitations, setting certain types of order limits on potential losses, such as stop-loss or stop-limit orders, may not always be effective and could fail to execute such orders. Traders using these types of orders must accept this risk.
Weekend risk
Various developments or events may occur over the weekend when markets are generally closed for trading, which could result in market openings at prices significantly different from those at Friday afternoon close. If there is a significant gap when the market opens the following day, it could potentially lead to substantial losses for traders.
